Characteristics

Our TS series horizontal multistage pumps are used where robust pumps are required to achieve high delivery pressures. With only cast parts, these pumps are somewhat more robust than the regular sheet steel (vertical) multistage pumps.

Materials :

Wet (hydraulic) parts cast iron EN 1561-GJL 25, shaft in AISI420,
gaskets EPDM, mechanical seals ceramic against silicon carbide or
tungsten carbide.

Maximum head: 300 mwc

Maximum sucrion pressure: 16 Bar

Maximum discharge pressure: 40 Bar

Max. medium temperature: 120° C (in standard execution)

Application

These multistage pumps are used for clean or slightly contaminated water for boiler feed, autoclaves, high pressure cleaning, firefighting, water supply, irrigation, fuel pumping, etc.

TS cross section

Multiple radial impellers are placed in series on a common pump shaft. Each impeller rotates in its own radially shared pump casing/stage. The stages are interconnected with the first stage feeding the next and so on, increasing the pressure with each stage. The most commonly used design is the one in which the pump shaft is supported by ball bearings in a bearing seat outside the liquid portion of the pump.
