Victor internal geared R gear pumps are self-priming positive displacement pumps suitable for liquids of any viscosity and temperature, which can be corrosive, abrasive and hazardous to the environment. These pumps give a non-pulsating constant flow, so no vibrations on fittings, valves or couplings. Full performance is possible in both directions of rotation. The entire series can be equipped with heating jackets and with connections at 90 ° or 180 °.
Operation principle ;
A: Two gears generate the flow: the rotor (1) and the idler; the internal gear (2).
The rotor moves the internal idler.
B: As the gears are rotating, fluid is drawn into the spaces created between the gears and smoothly
moved to the discharge port, where the divider (3), called crescent, closes off the free space
between the two gears.
C: When the gears mesh, the liquid is slowly forced out of the pump.
The result is a constant, even flow without pulsations.
