For some applications, the weight of the submersible pump plays a major role. When a pump with a relatively large capacity is used dynamically (varying applications at different locations), a professional cast iron submersible pump quickly becomes (too) heavy in transport and installation. These fully sheet stainless steel heavy duty pumps offer a solution. The weight of these pumps is in most cases already less than half that of professional cast iron submersible pumps. For example, the largest pump of the Tenax series has a maximum capacity of almost 100 m3/h with a weight of only 37 kg.
